Link PopularityLink popularity is considered by many experts to be the single most important element search engines consider in determining a web sites relevance. By definition link popularity refers to the number of links directed to a web site from related sites. There are three types of links (internal, outgoing, and incoming) that are used by search engines to determine a web sites link popularity rating. Internal Links:These are the navigation links on a page that direct you to other pages within a web site. Cross-linking not only allows a visitor to navigate a website but tells the search engine spider which are the most important pages. This allows the spider to find and index the pages quickly and sets the structure for the site. Outgoing Links:A list of current projects will be available starting July 15, 2004. Thank you for your patience.
